JOB TITLE: Operations Manager
BASE LOCATION: Cuttack, Odisha
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years’ experience
REMUNERATION: Commensurate with skills & experience and according to social sector standards


ThinkZone is a social enterprise that works towards improving the learning outcomes of children in low resource settings. ThinkZone provides access to quality learning opportunities for young children by empowering educators and parents through a blended approach of instructor-led support and accessible digital solutions.


ThinkZone is a social enterprise that launched its operations in 2015. ThinkZone has taken exciting opportunities to expand and so is seeking talented and driven young professionals for implementing and managing multiple ThinkZone programs on-ground. She/he needs to thrive in a start-up environment, have a passion for innovation, and should understand how to balance time, quality, and cost to deliver. The Operations Manager should understand the needs of both education and technology, be able to balance them, and deliver high-quality services for the end-users.


1. Point-person responsible for executing ThinkZone programs and managing operations in Cuttack city
2. Scouting for potential locations and working on successfully implementing ThinkZone programs in urban communities that are tailored and relevant to the specific audience
3. Conducting feasibility study and stakeholder analysis at possible areas of operations
4. Working on identification & on-boarding of educators and conducting their offline and online trainings
5. Providing support to educators and monitoring the implementation of ThinkZone programs
6. Documenting key performance indicators for operations and delivery activities, training standards and ensure their implementation while reporting performance
7. Establishing partnerships and creating operational linkages for effective program implementation
8. Travel to different locations as applicable.


1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
2. Entrepreneurial mind-set, a go-getter with excellent research and analytical skills
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Odia(mandatory) and English
4. Ability to work independently while also following a structured process / guidelines
5. Prior experience working with bottom-of-the-pyramid (BoP) / low-income / informal sector is a plus
6. Flexibility to travel, as required
