Position Summary
A program coordinator is a member of the project management team who supports the program manager in implementation of the project to ensure its success. A program coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the conduct of project activities in the field. S/he will work closely with frontline workers and champions, communities, caregivers, and Anganwadi workers. A program coordinator will be also responsible for administrative tasks, documentation and other necessary daily tasks to keep the project on track.
Requirements
Role and Responsibilities (including KRAs)
- Mobilization, recruitment, onboarding and induction of Care giving champions and Livelihood champions
- Mentor and Support champions
- Strategize the planning and implementation to execute Care2Play in the community
- Capacity building of champions.
- Create a culture within the front line workers to foster citizen-state engagement for execution of service delivery.
- Support in data collection and research related to Care2Play.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
- Strong project management skills
- Community Engagement Skills
- Strong project and operations management skills
- Strong event management and session facilitation skills
- Strong proficiency in MS-Office and MS-Excel
- Proficiency in Hindi (speaking, reading and writing)
- Ability to break down complex concepts and ideas and communicate in simple and easy language.
- Comfort with technology usage and Survey tools.

Graduate
- Must have: Field/community engagement experience
- Good to have: Fellowship experience
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of work experience (Fellowship experience can be counted)

Compensation
The Program Coordinator will be compensated based on the Indus Action‘s compensation benchmarking rubric. The range of compensation will be between 35 – 50k. The candidate would need to use their own laptop and the organization will bear the annual maintenance cost of up to Rs. 12,000 per year as per actuals.
