CRY’s reach is Pan India with a presence in 15 states. It is the only Indian Funding Organization and works for the upliftment of underprivileged Indian children.
Your Challenge:
At CRY – Child Rights and You, you’ll be using your professional skills and experience to help restore to underprivileged Indian children their basic rights to – survival, development, protection and participation. CRY has a holistic approach to development based on the child rights framework with community empowerment as a key ingredient. CRY also places strong emphasis on networking with other NGOs and advocacy efforts to influence macro policies for children.
The role and responsibilities of this position:
Stakeholder
- Identify and develop sustainable partnerships relationship with resource agencies and subject experts as per the emerging needs.
- Confidently engage with subject experts to co-ordinate on assignments and arrive at jointly agreed outcomes.
- Ensure capacity building inputs to partners/community by working with regional and national programme teams and partners
- In Assessing capacity building needs of partner/community
- In designing the capacity building inputs
- Assessing areas for capacity enhancement for DS regional/state team
- Designing capacity building interventions and training modules around the requirements based on the training needs.
- Conduct a sample of validation on different projects to ensure that CRY’s objectives are being met in the partnership
Process
- Coordination with Resource organisations having financial partnerships with CRY:
- Ensuring implementation of planned activities
- Coordination with CRY teams and other stakeholders for implementation of programmes
- Study the external environment and provide regular feedback to strengthen and improve quality of planned interventions
- Support annual reviews and planning interventions
- Assist in facilitating the advanced trainings for CRY teams and develop reports
- Design new tools for gathering and dissemination of programme information
- Analyze implementation processes to validate the impact of development support projects and further develop the validation framework collectively for different CRY supported project – where validation involves assessing different interventions in relation to contextual reality, state/national strategy and structural change
- To provide quality documentation of programmes and capacity building processes so as to ensure cross learning across different regions
People, Learning and Development
- To personally embody the CRY culture in thoughts words & deed
Financial
- Ensuring timely disbursal of funds to the resource organizations having a financial partnership with CRY
- Working within specified budget and optimizing cost efficiencies within team
You:
You must be a Post Graduate in Social Work/Development Studies/Social Sciences from a reputed institute. You must have 6 – 9 years’ experience in capacity building and Partner Relationship. The person should have a thematic expertise in Child Rights, Health & Nutrition or Education & Protection preferred.
