Position Overview:

Pratham is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer specializing in security and asset management. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of Pratham’s network infrastructure, data, and document management systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Network Security:

– Implement and manage robust network security measures to protect Pratham’s digital assets.

– Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

– Collaborate with IT teams to address and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

2. Data and Document Security:

– Develop and implement data security policies and procedures.

– Monitor and manage access controls to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish secure document management practices.

3. Asset Management:

– Implement and maintain an effective digital/technology asset management system.

– Conduct periodic audits to track and manage hardware and software assets.

– Collaborate with procurement and IT teams to ensure proper documentation and tracking of assets.

4. Incident Response:

– Develop and maintain incident response plans for network and security incidents.

– Lead investigations and analysis of security incidents, providing recommendations for improvements.

5. Compliance:

– Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and security regulations.

– Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to enhance Pratham’s security posture.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on security and asset management.

– Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA Security.

– Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

– Experience with asset management tools and practices.

– Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance requirements.

A minimum of three recommendations will be needed as we proceed through the selection process.
