Job Description – Social Media Manager, The Better India 

• We are searching for a digital marketing specialist with a strong background in social media platforms. In this role, you will work within the marketing team to come up with out-of-the-box social media strategies to build our brand across digital avenues. 

As a Social Media Manager, the following will be your primary areas of work: 

• – Lead the team members in creating and publishing high-quality content across social media platforms
•  – Plan, oversee, and execute SOPs to meet monthly targets of reach and engagement 
• – Monitor and analyze data and metrics to gauge success of social media posts 
• – Collaborate with creators and experts to promote brand awareness and create a buzz
•  – Research and assign trends, breaking news and hashtags in a timely manner 
• – Manage a social media content calendar for planning and scheduling posts in advance
•  – Design marketing and impact campaign ideas according to target audiences’ preferences 

Skills & Requirements :

• – Hands-on experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn 
• – Understanding of SEO and Social Media metrics/analytics 
• – Excellent copywriting, research and fact-checking skills 
• – Minimum experience: 2 years 
• – Candidates who’ve worked with digital media would be a plus
