**About The/Nudge Institute:**

The/Nudge is an action institute dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty. We collaborate with women, farmers, tribals, and youth on initiatives focusing on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. We partner with over 15 central and state governments to drive meaningful impact. 

Our economic inclusion journey has reached 10 states across India, impacting over 1.25 million people with $250M in government funding. We’ve also supported over 200 social entrepreneurs through our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenge programs.

**About the Team:**

The alliances team at The/Nudge is responsible for forging strategic partnerships with central and state governments to scale livelihood opportunities for underserved communities. 

**Responsibilities:**

*  Develop a deep understanding of The/Nudge’s programs to effectively represent our work to various government stakeholders.

*  Own the overall strategy and goals for the Government Alliances team.

*  Identify, cultivate, and manage networks and relationships within the government to support the identification and scaling of livelihood opportunities. 

*  Develop targeted and compelling messaging tailored to different categories of government stakeholders, utilizing various platforms like the website and WhatsApp.

*  Maintain a balance between short-term results and long-term strategic goals.

*  Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to drive results.

*  Build and manage a high-performing, lean team.

*  Represent The/Nudge at ecosystem events as needed.

*  High energy, passion, and a strong drive to create impactful work.

*  Hands-on, intrapreneurial leadership style with a growth and learning mindset.

*  Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

*  Intellectually curious, well-read, and a learner by doing.

*  Willingness to travel extensively across India.

*  Prior experience working with government is preferred.

**Qualifications:**

*  Master’s in public policy, economics, public administration, or international relations (preferred, not mandatory).

*  15+ years of experience with a significant portion in external-facing roles.
