**Job Description**

 

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ISDM’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for:

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.

* Installing software and networking systems.

* Troubleshooting network and software issues.

* Responding to general IT requests.

* Ensuring security software and mechanisms are up to date.

* Preparing monthly MIS reports, compiling support logs, and analyzing data.

* Meeting with internal teams to discuss system needs.

* Raising service requests with OEMs and ISPs (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo, Tata, Vi).

* Maintaining IT asset tracker and inventory.

* Troubleshooting system failures and identifying bottlenecks for network optimization.

* Organizing and scheduling upgrades and maintenance.

* Conducting regular data backups.

* Creating and maintaining training manuals.

* Handling and closing support requests promptly.

* Escalating complex issues to ensure service quality.

* Identifying and documenting trends in user support requests.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

* 4-5 years of relevant work experience.

* Knowledge of Identity Management, Google Workspace, Video Conferencing, security applications, etc.

* Expertise in administering MS Office Suite and equivalent desktop/cloud applications.

* Experience with development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems and audio-video equipment.

* Basic firewall administration and management.

* Understanding of networking and networking equipment.

* Knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices.

 

**Key Skills:**

 

* Ability to provide remote support for troubleshooting.

* Strong understanding of system implementation, configuration, and management.

* Active Directory / Domain Controller support.

* Understanding of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.

* Experience training users on new systems and protocols.

* Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
