## Job Description: Manager – Corporate Donor Relationships

Magic Bus India Foundation, established in 1999 by Matthew Spacie, is a leading NGO in India dedicated to education and skill development. We empower adolescents and young individuals with essential life skills and knowledge to break free from poverty and lead fulfilling lives. Our mission is to create a world where young people contribute positively to their communities while achieving sustainable livelihoods. 

 

We operate two flagship programs: the Adolescent Programme and the Livelihood Programme. The Adolescent Programme focuses on life skills and education enhancement, reaching over 1 million adolescents through our network of 2,770 connected schools across India. The Livelihood Programme focuses on employability by providing skills training and connecting young individuals to job market opportunities, successfully placing over 200,000 youths to date. 

 

Magic Bus India Foundation has offices in India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.

 

**Job Location:** Airoli, Navi Mumbai/ Noida/ Bangalore (with occasional travel requirements)

 

**Experience Required:** 5 to 8 years’ experience in managing Corporate donor relationships for Non-profits.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Manage and nurture long-term relationships with multiple corporate donors.

* Play a crucial role in fund allocation, taking major financial and programmatic decisions and reporting.

* Oversee program implementation as per MoUs with donors.

* Develop and execute retention strategies for existing donors, aiming to grow grant/donation sizes.

* Maintain robust CRM practices.

* Act as an effective spokesperson between Magic Bus and donor organizations.

* Manage and analyze data related to program progress and monitoring.

* Organize kick-off meetings with project stakeholders (internal and external).

* Ensure seamless communication and management of corporate donors.

* Effectively manage program budgets and deliver transparent reporting to donors.

* Coordinate donor engagement activities.

* Organize project reviews at regular intervals and monitor progress.

* Timely submission of donor reports (financial and programmatic).

 

**Desired Competencies:**

 

* Experience in CRM from Corporate donors.

* Experience in managing key accounts.

* Experience in overseeing clients and programs.

* Ability to drive complex projects in a timely manner.

* Ability to travel across Magic Bus markets.

* Ability to work effectively with large datasets and analyze them.

* Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with high-energy levels and a passion for success.

* Strong networking skills and relationship orientation.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Impeccable integrity and high personal ethics.

 

**Qualifications & Work Experience:**

 

* Any Graduate in Social work or other social sciences relevant to the development sector.

* 5 to 8 years’ experience in managing Corporate donor relationships for Non-profits.

* Awareness and engagement with diverse sectoral issues, especially on education, adolescent empowerment, and rural development.

 

**Team Coordination:**

 

* Director, Impact and the Impact team: Collaborate to find ways to represent and communicate results/outcomes.

* Sustainability / Fundraising team: Ensure accurate and organized information on all grant income, provide support as needed.

* Communications Team: Develop effective internal and external communication channels, sharing milestones achieved, success stories, etc.

* Other support functions: Ensure adequate manpower, fund allocation, accuracy, and technology enablement are in place.

 

**Reporting:**

 

* Reports to Director.

 

**Mobility Requirements:**

 

This role will be based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai/ Noida/ Bangalore, and will require occasional travel in line with the requirements of grants, stakeholders, project management teams, etc.
