## Head of Government Relations (GR)
**Indus Action** is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic development and social justice in India. We work across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture, to empower communities and create lasting change.
**We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Government Relations (GR) to lead our GR efforts in New Delhi.** This role will play a crucial part in shaping our policy advocacy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving our mission forward.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement a comprehensive GR strategy aligned with Indus Action’s strategic objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders at all levels.
* Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends relevant to Indus Action’s work.
* Engage in advocacy and lobbying activities to influence policy decisions in favor of our mission.
* Represent Indus Action at relevant forums and conferences.
* Develop and maintain a robust network of GR professionals and thought leaders.
* Manage and coordinate GR activities across different project teams.
* Contribute to the development of effective advocacy materials, including policy briefs, reports, and presentations.
**Qualifications:**
* Over 10-12 years of experience in government relations, with a minimum of 2 years in senior leadership roles.
* Strong understanding of the Indian political landscape and policymaking process.
* Proven track record of successful advocacy and lobbying initiatives.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and research capabilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
