## Product Manager – Solutions Portal
**Job Location:** Bangalore, Karnataka, India
**About SELCO Foundation:**
SELCO Foundation, established in 2010, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to climate-smart solutions for underserved communities. The foundation focuses on three key pillars: ecosystem building for innovation and scale, enterprise incubation, and providing access to clean and decentralized energy-driven productive use appliances.
**About the Role:**
The Solutions Portal is a web platform designed to connect users with clean and decentralized energy-driven productive use appliances. As the Product Manager for the Solutions Portal, you will be responsible for building and running the portal, along with other IT products crucial for the adoption and scale of livelihood solutions.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
* **Product Vision and Strategy:**
* Develop, communicate, and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Take complete ownership of the product, working with cross-functional teams of designers, developers, program implementation teams, and other external and internal stakeholders to deliver on the product vision.
* Develop an implementable execution plan for the assigned product.
* **Product Design and Development:**
* Conduct market and user research to understand the needs, preferences, pain points, and behaviors of the target users.
* Define the requirements, specifications, and scope of the product, as well as prioritize and manage the backlog, sprints, and releases in collaboration with the engineering and program team(s).
* Work closely with designers, developers, and engineers to translate the product vision and strategy into a functional and user-friendly product.
* Proactively test and iterate on the product based on user feedback and data.
* Document product-related artifacts and knowledge for internal and external use.
* **Product Launch, Evangelization, and Evolution:**
* Track and monitor product performance and achievement of success metrics.
* Drive implementation of the product through planning, data collection, training, product demos, and product release.
* Contribute to the evangelization of the products. Support in implementing marketing and communication plans for internal and external platforms and partners. Contribute to blogs, white papers, and case studies.
* **Collaborate with and Grow Teams:**
* Ensure effective engagement with other teams and well-coordinated work execution across work streams.
* Communicate effectively, influence and persuade others, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and productive culture.
* Build and nurture the talent in the team: Coach, mentor, and develop the next line of product talent in the team.
**Skills, Experience & Knowledge:**
* **Product Management:** 4+ years of experience.
* **Platform Building:** Experience building platforms or B2B2C solutions is preferred.
* **Technical Skills:** Experienced with great writing skills, product prioritization frameworks, prototyping & mind mapping, testing, and documentation skills.
* **Product Documentation:** Experience with product artifact documentation.
* **Industry Exposure:** Exposure to technology, government sector, or social sector is preferred.
