**Experience Required:**

 

Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.  Experience in a strategic or advisory capacity is essential, particularly in roles involving complex projects and operational management. Experience with a top-tier consulting firm is preferred.

 

**Job Overview:**

 

Dasra seeks a seasoned leader to guide its Catalytic Philanthropy team. This individual will co-create the team’s vision, strengthen internal processes, and develop strategies for delivering high-quality philanthropic solutions.  The role requires strategic leadership, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to navigate India’s evolving social sector landscape.  The Director will work closely with the founder and team leaders, shaping the direction and impact of the Catalytic Philanthropy team.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* **Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:** Co-create and drive the strategic vision for the Catalytic Philanthropy team; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; represent the team at meetings and events; stay informed on sector trends.

* **Operations:** Lead the development and execution of operational plans; build and strengthen internal structures; develop financial models; build and nurture a high-performing team; report progress to senior leadership and the Board; support fundraising and grant application efforts.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

The ideal candidate will possess executive presence, inspiring confidence and building trust.  They must excel in team management, partnership building, and stakeholder engagement.  Entrepreneurial spirit, sound judgment, strong ethical standards, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.  The candidate should be energetic, approachable, and service-oriented.
