**Job Description:**

FAST India seeks an exceptional Program Manager to contribute to our mission of transforming India’s S&T landscape. This high-energy role requires close collaboration with organizational leaders and stakeholders to advance policy reforms and program implementation.  The successful candidate will provide intellectual and execution support, aligning with FAST India’s strategic goals and targets.  This includes managing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to promote science and technology policy advancements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist in framing policies and processes to improve scientific R&D financing and reduce barriers to innovation.

* Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to inform policy recommendations.

* Develop and implement programs and projects in collaboration with various stakeholders (institutions, private sector).

* Manage diverse operational tasks to ensure organizational success.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders, funders, and experts.

* Prepare policy briefs, presentations, and other materials for meetings and conferences.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of capacity-building programs.

* Collaborate with the India Science Festival team to enhance its impact.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Postgraduate or Master’s degree from a top-tier institution (specific major not specified, but high intellectual curiosity and execution rigor are essential).

* 3-6+ years of work experience in a challenging, high-growth environment.

* Demonstrated passion for science and technology, and a strong desire to improve the Indian S&T ecosystem.

* Excellent analytical, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills.

* Strong communication, writing, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
