**Job Description: Project Research Scientist – III (Non-Medical)**

**Qualifications:**  

– **Essential:** First-class Post Graduate Degree or integrated PG degree with three years’ experience, or a PhD.  

– **Second Option:** Second-class Post Graduate Degree or integrated PG degree with a PhD and three years’ experience.  

– **Engineering/IT/CS:** First-class graduate degrees of Four Years with Five years’ experience.  

 

**Experience:**  

– Around 03 years of relevant experience in public health-related project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.  

– Must have handled a minimum of five projects as Principal Investigator or Co-PI.  

– Proficiency in qualitative research methods, including protocol development, data collection, and analysis.  

– Strong publication record in tobacco control, cessation, or public health.  

– Proficiency in using software like NVivo, ATLAS.ti.  

 

**Deliverables:**  

Under the guidance of Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs), the Project Research Scientist will:  

1. Ensure timely implementation of study activities across three sites.  

2. Facilitate coordination with study sites and collaborating institutions.  

3. Handle Ethics Committee applications, codal documentation, CTRI submissions, and compliance.  

4. Contribute to qualitative components, including protocol development, data collection, analysis, and manuscript writing.  

5. Develop and manage project database systems and perform regular data quality checks.  

6. Assist in developing an AI-based interface for tobacco cessation support.  

7. Submit study reports and documentation as required.
