**Position:** Senior Program Manager, Sustainable Energy for Climate Action Program
**Location:** Bangalore
**Reports to:** Associate Director, SELCO Foundation
SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on developing clean energy solutions to reduce poverty in underserved areas. Collaborating with NGOs, entrepreneurs, and educational institutions, the foundation aims to link sustainable energy to poverty alleviation across sectors like energy access, health, and livelihoods.
**Job Description:**
The Senior Program Manager will lead SELCO’s Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP), established in 2021. This role involves anchoring research, building narratives, coordinating with teams, managing partnerships, and developing communication strategies to disseminate key learnings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Manage critical research and narrative-building for SELCAP.
– Stay updated on sector trends and plan organizational activities.
– Develop and implement a communication strategy for knowledge sharing.
– Innovate in communicating concepts to enhance uptake.
– Coordinate with internal teams for ecosystem approach implementation.
– Conduct regular team meetings to monitor milestones and share best practices.
– Design partnerships and strategic plans, including blogs and newsletters.
**Experience & Qualifications:**
– Minimum 6 years in social impact sector, with experience in climate action programs.
– Proficiency in journalistic research, coalition building, and landscape studies.
– Strong organizational skills for multitasking and attention to detail.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills.
– Ability to connect conceptual approaches with ground realities.
– Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
