**Job Title:** Deputy Manager – Climate Action

**Position Overview:**
The Deputy Manager – Climate Action will assist the Program Manager in coordinating and implementing environment-related projects, with a focus on pollution management. This role involves extensive fieldwork across Mumbai and India.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Design, facilitate, and execute environment projects, campaigns, and corporate employee engagement activities.
– Establish partnerships with schools, colleges, community groups, corporates, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders for awareness events and volunteer mobilization.
– Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies and international forums.
– Develop and implement Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks.
– Conduct continuous research on environmental issues and contribute to project development.
– Create IEC materials, reports, presentations, and social media content.
– Oversee budgeting, financial reconciliation, and project documentation.
– Represent the organization at external meetings and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
**Profile Requirements:**
– Postgraduate in Environment Science/Engineering, Sustainability Studies, Environmental Policy, or equivalent degree.
– 5-6 years of experience managing environmental projects, preferably in pollution/waste management.
– Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is an advantage.
– Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Ability to work dynamically, meet deadlines, and travel as needed.
**Remuneration:**
The salary range is ₹8 LPA to ₹12.4 LPA, based on qualifications and experience.
