**Job Description**
**Position:** Manager – Financial Planning & Reporting
**Location:** Delhi, India
**About EAII Advisors:**
EAII Advisors is a technical partner to Evidence Action in India, supporting state governments in implementing evidence-based public health programs. These include initiatives for safe drinking water and school-based health interventions like National Deworming Day and iron and folic acid supplementation. Operating across 10 states, EAII Advisors works with various ministries to reduce health burdens and improve the wellbeing of children and families.
**Role Summary:**
The Manager – Financial Planning & Reporting will lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes for EAII Advisors. This role involves overseeing project spending, preparing budgets and financial reports, ensuring compliance with organizational and funder requirements, and managing contracts and receivables.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead annual/quarterly budgeting exercises and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
– Prepare financial proposals, budgets, and reports for funders, adhering to Indian accounting standards and internal policies.
– Manage project contracts, scope of work under master service agreements, and invoicing.
– Monitor budget performance, prepare variance analysis, and support business proposal development with financial forecasts.
– Coordinate with auditors for project audits and maintain financial documentation.
– Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations, GST implications, and funder requirements.
**Requirements:**
– **Experience:** 7-10 years in finance/Accounting, preferably in the development or consulting sector. Minimum 3 years in a managerial role with budget management experience.
– **Education:** Chartered Accountant (CA)/Cost Accountant (CMA)/MBA in Finance from a reputed institution preferred.
– **Skills:** Proficiency in financial analysis tools (MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI), familiarity with ERP software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
– **Knowledge:** Understanding of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, and funder reporting standards. Knowledge of IFRS is desirable.
