Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support for our business teams and helping to create reports everyone can understand. This role will be consistently looking for new ways to use data internally.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for critical Power BI Reports (including Paginated) for Finance and commercial teams
• Fault finding why data is not displaying correctly, tracing issues back to data
• Manage permissions on reports and back-end data
• Request for changes to models and gateways
• Manage and deal with technical issues with Power BI Premium
• IT Representative on the Technical community monthly meetings to provide updates on PowerBI features
• Refreshing data sets within Power BI and configuring refresh 

Additional responsibilities include:

• Regular contact with stakeholders to ensure necessary requirements and expectations are being met
• Run and attend workshops with teams to test dashboard solution models
• Present solutions at varying stages throughout each project as well as the final installation
• Work with managers to identify possible dashboard owners within their team
• As a subject matter expert (both internally and externally), support and train colleagues to develop their understanding of PowerBI
• Be an active contributor to cross-functional projects within the BI team as well as the wider business 

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent / related degree
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar type role of data visualization, Power BI is a must
• Flexibility to manage time zone difference with international teams
• Examples of working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary agile teams
• Able to communicate effectively with highly technical specialists and generalists
• Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities in the face of ambiguity
• Good understanding of back-end data architectures and data flow
• Happy working independently or part of a team
