About Asha Kiran

Asha Kiran – the hope project is rebuilding the lives of extremely poor affected post-COVID-19 via a network of credible non-profits in partnership with the government. The project targets poor rural women, migrant/construction laborer families to provide immediate and long-term support with women at the center and by building on SHG networks. The/Nudge is working with Uttar Pradesh’s State Rural Livelihood Missions, non-profits, and private sector organizations to help scale the livestock models targeting the poor.

In an effort to promote rural livelihoods centred around small livestock management, we are working and scaling the livestock initiatives by providing research, value-chain design, capacity building, and technical support. This role will lead to product design and development of livelihood solutions for the communities we serve. She/he will also lead a team in product design, development go-to-market and scale as well as support the implementation team.

At The/Nudge You Will

  • own the end-to-end research, product design, and development of scalable and impactful livelihood models for the community and community resources
  • handhold and build the capacity of the implementation teams for a strong roll-out and execution of the design on-ground
  • drive innovations, conduct targeted pilots and iterations to improve the product design for implementation at scale
  • own the development of processes for translating product design to implementation
  • work closely with our program partners including but not limited to technical partners and
  • manage relationships with all key stakeholders
  • conduct targeted pilots to improve the product design and own the follow-on iterations, evaluations, assessment of outcomes, and impact

Apply If You Have

  • graduate, post-graduate degrees
  • 5-7 years of work experience
  • experience in customer research/insights, product design and development, and go-to-market
  • demonstrated ability to research, design, develop, pilot, and implement
  • a strong bias for action and result-orientation
  • excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • demonstrated ability and willingness to learn continuously, collaborate and be open minded
  • a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
  • written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English
  • willingness to stay and travel in deep rural areas

Would Be Great If You Have

  • experience in programs designed around or with SHGs, Community Institutions
  • experience in developing technology-led solutions
