Role and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project management of LSEP projects across India. This may include Mindspark, Assessments, Gifted Students or something else.
  • Work with students across various partners – NGOs, governments, funders, schools, etc to figure out how the Assessments product can better diagnose student misconceptions and how the Mindspark product can help improve learning outcomes.
  • Work with teachers in figuring out ways in which they can utilize Assessments and Mindspark for diagnosing and improving learning outcomes.
  • Designing and facilitating training sessions/workshops for various stakeholders so that the product works at its optimal best.
  • Ensuring key outcomes (usage, # of users, and ARPU) of the project are met – may require observing trends/patterns in daily/weekly reports and having conversations on the same.
  • Building out systems and processes that allow us to become more efficient as we scale (monitoring, reporting, data based alerts, impact evaluation, etc)
  • Periodic reporting to donors/government and associated account management
  • Ensure appropriate project deliverables are met, payments are on track and get signed work completion certificates – for projects that are already sold/commissioned
  • Meet Directors/IAS officers in State governments to advocate for an assessment led reform and EdTech for improving learning outcomes
  • Primary metrics for measuring success would be team building, getting approvals, usage, # of users, revenue sourcing, payment collections & maintaining profitability of the project.
  • Other metrics for measuring success would be the govt’s willingness to expand the program through a tender, general relationships with Sr. govt officials and EI being recognised as a trusted advisor.

Skillset

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree from a Tier1/2 college with at least 4 years of related experience.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must be committed to adopting and adhering to best practices.
  • Must be able to effectively plan and prioritize tasking and communicate clearly regarding technical options and trade-offs.
  • Must be capable of performing high quality work both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment.
  • Must be comfortable working on multiple systems and components simultaneously in various configurations.

Education

  • Master’s Degree from a Tier1/2 college

Experience

At least 4 years of related experience
