Role and Responsibilities

  • Program manage special projects: Work with business and functional teams to solve critical, cross-functional problems, set the priorities, identify solutions, and drive implementation in different types of projects and initiatives – including strategy, incubation and execution of special projects.
  • Provide support for monthly review and quarterly Board meetings with investors:  Arrange and handle all logistics for monthly review and Board Meetings and events: draft agenda, solicit relevant inputs and slides from business leaders, prepare presentation and share minutes of meeting and key action points and follow-ups on that.
  • Participate in review meetings, trackaction items and tasks delegated by CEO to ensure that it is achieved to agreed deadlines. Prepare fortnightly reports on status of goals and roadblocks that need the attention of the CEO. Act as a “barometer,” having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CEO updated.
  • Supports CEO in his external commitments related to Marketing and PR, including reaching out to people the CEO should meet and greet at conferences and events; share speaker bios and pictures; and prepare talking points for events/webinars. Helps prepare talking points for townhalls/ internal communication to all staff. 
  • Find new revenue opportunities: Keep a pulse check on EdTech and PedTech industry by analysing trends, market mapping, competitor analysis and suggesting new revenue sources for Ei.
  • Knowledge Institutionalization: create a well-functioning repository for all knowledge and data at Ei, drive each SBU to use them, and create a culture of knowledge institutionalization within the company

Skillset

  • Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally.
  • Abilities in business acumen; strategy formulation and P&L understanding; Financial data comprehension inference development; project management team working.
  • Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
  • Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues
