It also provides early-stage equity capital as well as non-dilutive grants for pilots, validations, market access and scale-up programmes. Job Description
Social Alpha, is a unique innovation curation and venture development platform for impact. We are reshaping how organization accelerate their performance in an ever-evolving start-up environment. We are currently looking for an experienced Content Writer who can support the development and execution of the organization’s content strategy. The ideal candidate should be passionate about start-ups, Tech, and Innovation.
The candidate will work in Social Alpha’s core communications team. The candidate will actively build visibility and understanding of market opportunities across the organization.
The Role: –
The Role of the Content Writer is pivotal in the life of Social Alpha, embracing a wide range of responsibilities.
The role reports to the Head of Marketing and is responsible for the effective management of Social Alpha’s Content Strategies. This role is an Individual Contributor Role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Write crisp and engaging content
· Create simple but impactful email templates, blogs, podcasts, social media copy and articles
· Proofread and edit content before it is shared with the stakeholders
· Collaborate with in-house teams to create subject-specific content
· Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics that can be used for blogs, podcasts, and other digital media
· Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
· Write and proofread copy for our core sectors and start-ups
· Understand the brief and deliver within stipulated timelines
· Write short form and long form content
Essential Experience:
· Proven work experience as a content/copywriter or similar role (3-4 years)
· Experience doing research using multiple sources
· Familiarity with online publications
· Excellent writing and editing skills in English
· Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems
· Ability to meet deadlines and time-bound schedules with efficient time management
· BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field is preferred
· Certification in Instructional Design/ Content writing is preferred
· A creative mind who would be comfortable challenging the status quo by being proactive and is able to pitch new ideas
· Effective stakeholder management
