About Global Reporting

Global Reporting teams are responsible for a range of reporting, analysis and quality assurance activities in relation to critical / key, complex and technical risk and regulatory topics that affect DB. Risk and Regulatory Analytics are part of the Group Consolidation and Reporting team within Group Reporting / Group Finance and their key stakeholders include but are not limited to:

  • Banking Regulators
  • Group Consolidation and Reporting colleagues
  • Investor Relations and Treasury
  • Business Finance
  • Credit and Market Risk Management

Your key responsibilities

The team is responsible for balance sheet (risk) and regulatory submissions. In addition, business SME responsibility is assumed for the below mentioned topics.

Be responsible for the following key outputs:

  • Public disclosures for year-end and quarter-end reporting related to balance sheet topics
  • Ad hoc reports to regulators for the above related requests
  • Regulatory submissions for balance sheet FIRNEP
  • Internal management reports for the above related requests
  • Preparation of movement analysis and apprising on movements to Group Finance FD’s on all risk balance sheet related topics
  • Establish best practice for collaboration with various CTB functions (including Finance CTB, GTO) to ensure appropriate system environment for risk balance sheet and regulatory reporting topics.
  • Period on Period movement analysis for balance sheet products and understanding of the business drivers.
  • Support Internal management reporting (regular as well as on request)
  • Regulatory submissions on monthly and quarterly basis viz. FinRep, FSB, OTC Derivatives, GSII etc.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of macros on excel, MS Outlook, MS access, etc.
  • Regulatory reporting experience would be desired
  • Sound know-how of banking industry and capital markets (products)
  • Sound knowledge for accounting and IFRS reporting framework.
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic project experience
  • Fluent English (oral and written)
  • Several years of experience in banking industry

Education/ Qualifications

  • University degree with related majors (i.e. Financial Accounting & Auditing, Risk & Financial Management)
  • Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or a similar qualification, OR
  • Relevant background in quantitative subject areas (Statistics and Math’s) would be preferred
