The Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF), set up by Nobel Peace Laureate, Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, is a global leader for prevention of exploitation and violence against children. KSCF works for the creation of a child-friendly world through policy advocacy, direct interventions and programmes, research and capacity building, and campaigns for the mobilization of mass support and sustained behavior change. Mr. Satyarthi’s experience guides the Foundation’s work to engage children and youth as part of the solution, build greater collaboration among governments, business, civil society, and communities, ensuring effective national and international laws, their implementation, scaling know-how and successful practices and creating partnerships with key stakeholders.
KEY AREA
Strategy and Planning
· Establish frameworks, processes and procedures for quality assurance, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of the KSCF Programme portfolio data and information in consultation with the Executive Director, Programmes and the Programme Coordinators;
· Ensure systems established and running align with current business MEL systems.
· Determine and plan training on data quality assurance and MEL requirements to KSCF state offices and local implementing partners
· Ensure the MEL team is resourced and managed adequately.
· Attend internal/external meetings and learning events as required to provide MEL updates to project stakeholders, donors, and state authorities in the respective states.
Systems and Processes
· Lead the development of data quality assurance plans, reporting tools, data analysis, and presentation frameworks and databases, including a technical support plan for KSCF State Offices and local implementing partners.
· In coordination with the KSCF programming team and the research and policy wings, develop and design theories of change and M&E frameworks for new grants and opportunities; ensure they align with relevant systems.
· Work with the KSCF Information Systems, state offices, and local implementing partners to collate and report M&E data per donor reporting requirements, support data visualization, and produce reports and analyses that cater to various audiences.
· Ensure Programme compliance to the internal and external reporting requirements, e.g. Donor reports, KSCF MIS, Narrative reports, etc.
· Enable processes in which research initiatives are derived from monitoring and evaluation data; work with research teams to better utilize research data. Liaise with the Research and Policy team to establish impact of KSCF programmes.
· Contribute to knowledge management initiatives, especially data mapping, cataloguing, and management processes, in discussion with the Executive Director, Programmes.
Technical Support
· Take the lead in the design of research and evaluations, reviewing/developing relevant TORs, data analysis, and reviewing evaluation reports to inform KSCF efforts on child protection.
· Provide MEL and research oversight and technical support to programme portfolio teams and processes for quality reporting.
· Lead in capacity building of staff in MEL and Research through training in various M&E technical areas
· Ensure timely issue resolution for requests made by KSCF State offices and local implementing partners to meet the MEL requirements of the programme portfolios.
Requirements
4. Education and Knowledge
· Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Demographics, Biostatistics, Economics, Development Economics, Public Health, Operation Research, or related fields;
· Professional qualification in M&E or related field is an added advantage.
5. Required Qualifications and Experience
· 6-8 years of experience in MEL in development settings; preferred with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
· Significant experience in data management, including use of quantitative and qualitative analysis software and report writing skills
· Extensive experience in designing and undertaking research, evaluations, and other studies.
· Technical knowledge and experience in child protection or related programming strongly preferred.

· Facilitatory skills as opposed to a top-down approach to support state offices and local implementing partners
· Ability to operationalize strategy into action for the function

· Being able to guide teams to deliver, at the same being hands-on on delivery
· Ability to travel upto 40% of work time
Strong knowledge of Hindi is an asset.
