Recognized as India’s most trusted NGO, Child Rights and You (CRY) works tirelessly to ensure happier and healthier childhoods for India’s underprivileged children. We address children’s critical needs by working with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district and state level governments as well as the children themselves. Over the last 4 decades, we have impacted the lives of over 3 million children across 19 states in India.
You will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of CRY’s brand communication strategy for CRY America, CRY UK and our global operations across markets like the Middle East, South East Asia etc. Increasing CRY brand visibility, creating awareness around children’s rights, facilitating effective fundraising communication and positioning CRY as a preferred social impact partner will be a critical measure of this role.
Your role will involve planning for all communication requirements, creative ideation for awareness campaigns as well as donor communication, copywriting for communication collaterals, liaising with external vendors and partners and cracking media/brand/influencer partnership to aid visibility objectives.
As a member of the Communications function, you will act as a brand custodian and ensure that all brand guidelines and communication SOPs are adhered to.
You must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing/Communications/Mass Communications with at least 7 to 9 years of experience in a brand communications role in a mid-sized organization. Strong copywriting skills and an understanding of brand communication concepts are essential. Experience in brand partnerships is a definite advantage.
