Communications and Design Intern Requirement

Position Title: Intern – Communications and Design

Location: Remote (Part-time)

Time duration: June – October (5 months) with a possibility of extension up to January 2025

Overview:

FAST India is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Intern for Social Media and Content Management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our initiatives, particularly focusing on pre-ISF competitions and ISF2024, with the potential for continued involvement in ISF 2025 preparations. You are encouraged to take a look at the India Science Festival website and social media handles to understand the event better.

Responsibilities:

– Create content for social media, website, newsletter and other documents for upcoming events

– Develop creative banners, posters, and other visual materials for ISF Pre-fest competitions and post on all media platforms

– Assist in data management, upkeep and processing

– Website management, including updating content and media on the ISF website

– Utilize existing content to create engaging posts and short videos for social media platforms.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in social media content management and design
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong time management skills.
• Familiarity with WordPress and Canva
• Prior experience in website management and content creation preferred
