Who are we?
NSRCEL is the start-up incubator of IIM Bangalore. We are deeply committed to mobilising the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country to foster innovation and economic growth. Role Description:
The Mentoring Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the mentoring team in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s mentorship program. Operating under the guidance of the Mentoring Operations Manager, this role will hold a significant position in not only bolstering the program’s achievements but also in fostering the expansion of the mentor community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment of new mentors by reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, and recommending suitable candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new mentors, including providing training materials, scheduling training sessions, and tracking completion of training requirements.
- Support the mentor and mentee matching process by understanding Venture needs and connecting the right mentor.
- Schedule mentor and mentee meetings, track feedback and learn from Insights.
- Collaborate with the team to gather and analyse program data, encompassing feedback from mentors and mentees, insights and updates.
- Assist in developing program design, including training manuals, mentor and mentee guides, and other program resources.
- Attend team meetings, take minutes, and contribute to discussions about program improvements and future directions.
- Provide dedicated administrative assistance to the mentoring team. This entails organizing meetings, maintaining updated databases, and overseeing the program’s mentoring activities.
- Work on a new incubation tool where mentoring will be mapped, scheduled, tracked and any other activities related to mentoring will be conducted. Transition and migration on the new tool.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment, with an ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of individuals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for start-ups grow and develop, and commitment to the values of mentorship.
