**Experience Required:**  

3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on decentralized energy solutions, energy policy, or energy systems integration. Experience working with government bodies, DISCOMs, or energy utilities is highly desirable.  

**Job Description:**  

Swaniti Initiative seeks an Associate to support the Andhra Pradesh (AP) government’s renewable energy transition goals. The role involves providing technical assistance, designing affordable RE solutions for DISCOMs, analyzing consumer data, conducting literature reviews, and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will act as a subject expert and primary point of contact, coordinating with partners and government departments at the state level.  

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. **Technical Support & Analysis:**  

   – Conduct technical analysis for decentralized renewable energy (DRE) solutions to design financially sustainable models for AP DISCOMs.  

   – Provide expertise on integrating RE solutions to improve DISCOM financial health while ensuring affordable electricity for consumers.  

2. **Consumer Data Analysis & Policy Research:**  

   – Analyze consumer data to identify subsidized demographics and potential for rooftop solar adoption.  

   – Conduct literature reviews and research on successful DRE models and policy frameworks.  

3. **Stakeholder Coordination:**  

   – Facilitate communication with government officials, energy providers, and other stakeholders.  

4. **Reporting & Documentation:**  

   – Develop case studies and reports on project progress and impact assessments.  

**Qualifications:**  

– Master’s degree in Energy, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.  

– Proven experience in renewable energy, particularly DRE solutions.  

– Knowledge of Telugu is an advantage.  

– Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
