**Job Description: Associate Manager – Finance**  

**Location:** Bangalore  

**Salary Range:** INR 9,00,000 to 9,96,000 per annum

**Role Objective:**  

The Associate Manager – Finance will manage financial records, process transactions, and analyze data for internal and external audits. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support the organization’s financial and operational goals.  

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– **Accounting & Financial Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally and other financial software. Ensure all transactions are properly accounted for as per financial procedures and controls.  

– **Budget & Financial Reporting:** Oversee budget maintenance, provide timely financial data and reports to the programme team, and manage periodic financial statement closures, including budget forecasting and reporting.  

– **Statutory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with statutory obligations such as income tax returns, TDS, Professional Tax, FC-6 returns, and other dues. Manage timely payments and filings.  

– **Grant & Finance Management:** Handle grant management, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure proper accounting and auditing processes.  

– **Internal Control & Payments:** Oversee internal expenditure controls, manage cash disbursements and receipts, and ensure timely processing of pending bills and vendor payments.  

– **Reconciliation & Discrepancies:** Manage monthly reconciliations, liaise with management to resolve discrepancies, and meet audit and reporting deadlines.  

– **Accounts Payable & Procurement:** Oversee the accounts payable function from procurement to invoice payment, ensuring efficient processes.  

 

**Qualifications:**  

– Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce or a related field.  

– 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to financial reporting and analysis within the development sector.  

– Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting principles and regulations.  

– Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
