The role

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Operations team as an Associate. The role is meant for a person with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Finance, Budget & Accounting:

● To ensure accounting records are maintained as per prescribed standards and policies

● Timely deliverables w.r.t statutory compliances.

● Assist in preparation of budgets

● Tracking expenditure against approved budgets

● Maintaining cash flow records on monthly basis

● Correspondence with banks

● Assist in Audit engagements: support the audit process as required

Programme Funding Management:

● Creating MIS for facilitating planning and tracking of Programme funding

● Coordination with Programme beneficiaries

● Assist in review of Programmes and ensuring all the documentation is in order

Skills requirement

● Graduate/post graduate with finance and accounting background

● 1-3 years of relevant experience of working in impact investment fund, social sector or grant organization, start-up or social enterprise.

● Experience in accounting function is essential.

● Experience in a not-for-profit organization is not essential but will be preferred.

● Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Tally

● Logical thinker, ability to connect the dots

● Project execution experience

● Comfortable working in situations with tight timelines or dealing with ad-hoc requests
