Who we are and what we do?
Simply put, we are bridging the information and access gap between citizens and social protection programs (both government and private) using tech and a network of field agents known as ‘Haqdarshaks’ (who are primarily women).
At present, we partner with corporates, CSR departments, philanthropies, family offices, and even government offices to design and implement programs on the field. We have been around for almost 7 years. We are present in more than 26 states. We have unlocked benefits worth over INR 5,000 crore for over 30 lakh Indian citizens. We have multiple digital portals (including two apps, one for citizens and one for our agents) where we have digitized information on government schemes in 11 vernacular languages/
We are also working on scaling our latest offerings, ‘Yojana Cards’ and ‘Yojana Kendras’. Our aim is to impact 10 million Indians by 2030 through these offerings.
As part of the partnership team, you will play a crucial role in achieving this ambitious goal. From day one, you will have the opportunity to take ownership and make a significant impact. You will be responsible for initiating and leading conversations, developing revenue models, exploring new outreach channels, and more. You will be the face of Haqdarshak for clients, guiding them from the initial discovery call to the demo, proposals, and ultimately closing the contract.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Generating a sales pipeline by activating personal and professional networks.
- Creating and presenting impactful proposals to clients to close contracts.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and guiding them in making informed decisions about our services.
- Working closely with internal teams and existing partners to identify opportunities for project renewals, upselling, and cross-selling, building strong relationships along the way.
- Developing pitches specific to your domain expertise.
- Conducting market research to identify new sectors, organizations, and functions that could benefit from Haqdarshak’s services
- Representing Haqdarshak at important events and conferences to expand our network and find potential partnership opportunities.
- Collaborating with other teams to plan and execute strategies that align with our mission
- Field visits to learn first hand about execution and convert that into appropriate client narratives
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with current and new corporate partners to ensure ongoing support.

We are seeking to work with colleagues who possess the following qualifications and traits:
- Relevant work experience (0-1 for Associate and min. 2-3 years for Sr. Associate) in client-facing sales, business development, or fundraising roles within the social impact sector.
- Some level of experience working with one of the following cohorts: Workers/MSMEs/Farmers
- An entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and outcome orientation
- Genuine interest in understanding government systems
- Target oriented: Comfortable working toward individual and business targets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- A genuine willingness to embrace feedback and actively seek opportunities for growth
- A strong desire to develop negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.
- The ability to multitask, take ownership of responsibilities, and think quickly on your feet.
- Willingness to drive and execute revenue-based business models contributing to social impact.
