About Us

Key Education Foundation (KEF) is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the quality of Early Childhood Education (ECE) for children.

Our mission is to ensure quality early childhood education for children by empowering schools, teachers and parents, and sharing knowledge and resources to enable systemic change. We currently work with 45+ low-fee private schools and also work with the Government of Karnataka in enriching pre-primary education in 22 schools

About the Role

At KEF, we believe that play-based learning activities conducted in a safe environment by a safe adult during early childhood are the best way to ensure long-lasting development for a child. We implement our programs by partnering with Affordable Private Schools (APS), Government Schools, other NGOs and Parents. The Business Development Associate will be primarily  responsible for strategising & building partnerships along with planning and procuring the necessary resources, and managing the overall operations to ensure the successful implementation of our programs.

Commitment: Full time
Location: Bangalore
Joining date: Immediate
Remuneration: Ranging between 4.2 to 6.5 LPA

Key Responsibilities and Duties

● Create the partnership strategy and build a pipeline of potential partners to implement our programs.

● Assist in the creation and execution of outreach plans for our programs.

● Monitor the progress of the program implementation and support as necessary.

● Conduct a needs assessment to understand the requirements of potential partners and plan for effective ways to pitch our programs.

● Visit and engage with schools, NGOs & communities to pitch our programs as required.

● Oversee the backend operations for effective implementation of our programs.

Depending on the phase of the project cycle through the year, this role will also include pitching the program to stakeholders and working towards onboarding them onto our programs.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

● Excellent spoken communication in English

● Knowledge of spoken Kannada and Hindi is preferred

● Active listener and enjoys conversing with people

● Attention to detail and high ownership

Qualification and Experience

● Graduate degree

● Minimum 1-3 years of experience in managing partnerships and operations preferably in the education sector

This role requires you to travel within the city. Hence a person with their own vehicle is preferred.
