**Job Description: Communications Analyst – UNDP India Country Office**

 

**Location:** New Delhi, India  

**Position Type:** Full-time  

**Contract Duration:** 1 Year

**Position Overview:**  

The Communications Analyst will support the Sustainable and Inclusive Growth (SIG) Unit in developing and implementing communication strategies for the project “Boosting Female Labour Force Participation through Strengthened Urban Childcare.” The role involves enhancing visibility, engaging stakeholders, and promoting UNDP’s work in India.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies aligned with UNDP’s priorities.

2. Design and implement social media campaigns, web content, and digital outreach to increase project visibility.

3. Facilitate knowledge management by drafting newsletters, synthesizing best practices, and preparing dissemination plans.

4. Support business development, public information campaigns, and donor reporting.

5. Organize events such as round-table discussions, press conferences, and launches to promote project goals.

 

**Qualifications:**

– **Education:** Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Social Science, or a related field (or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience).

– **Experience:** At least 2 years of professional experience in development communication, journalism, or public relations. Experience in gender equality and inclusivity-related communications is an advantage.

– **Skills:** Strong writing and editing skills in English and Hindi; proven ability to manage social media and work independently as well as in a team.

 

**Competencies:**

– Demonstrated experience in strategic outreach, advocacy, and media engagement.

– Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
