Program: Skill Development Program

Job Title: Community Mobilizer

Location: Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh)

Monthly professional fee: 15 K to 20 K

Required qualification, skills and experience:  

◼ Professional qualification MSW or Graduate/postgraduate in related fields

◼ Minimum 3 years of work experience in rural development sector or working with NGOs in various development schemes, preferably skills development program.

◼ Language Proficient: Hindi, English and local language

◼ The Candidates already working as Community Mobilizer in the Skills program are preferred.

Role:  

• Lead youth mobilization to ensure enrolment in skill development training program

• Develop a mechanism for generating leads through promotional activities like road shows, community talks, village meetings with youths etc. for motivating prospective students in nearby areas/villages in district and adjacent areas.

• Develop relationships with Panchayat officials, and youth clubs to spread awareness about skill development programs.

• Perform weekly mobilization programs as per calendar and maintain a database of the prospective youths in the area.

• Ensure eligibility criterion is adhered to during the selection of candidates across regions and trades.

• Any other work as and when assigned by the reporting manager.
