Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to business or communications
  • 5-6 years of experience in a business writing and communications-related field
  • Experience in developing, curating and editing different forms of content (eg: writing, frameworks, SOPs, videos etc.)
  • Passion for distilling complex business concepts into knowledge assets through interacting with knowledge experts 
  • Experience conceptualizing & directing a range of business communications and media content (e.g., writing, presentations, video, web, social media)
  • Understanding of how to build the editorial infrastructure to support a growing and robust content engine
  • Prior experience of engaging with nonprofit ecosystem and strong understanding of nonprofit requirements
  • Flexibility and the ability to gracefully navigate ambiguity, deadline pressure and conflicting requests
  • Team orientation, with a strong sense of commitment to team members and sectoral impact
  • Strong critical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Good to have

  • Prior experience in leading a small content team 
  • The ability to develop/ leverage a network of offsite partnerships to increase the visibility & reach of knowledge assets & content being created.

The Opportunity

Consultant will be an integral part of the India Nonprofit Network (INN) team. INN is a technology based platform aimed at enabling small and medium NGOs, to enable delivery of critical services to the last-mile. Through supporting local small and mid-sized NGOs, INN will provide NGOs with essential capacity building assets and knowledge resources, collaboration opportunities, updates to stay relevant and grow as a strong institution. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Knowledge Assets Curation, Editing and Packaging 

  • Work with the internal Sattva team and external experts to curate knowledge assets.
  • Distill and cultivate powerful editorial products and content from raw knowledge assets (PPTs, SOPs,FAQs etc.)
  • Edit and package content into consumable formats easy to understand for the audience
  • Develop an active professional network within the firm to build relationships with practice managers and knowledge experts, and become familiar with the publishing priorities
  • Effectively understand social sectoral stakeholders, language and themes to be able to develop strong content ideas & narratives with knowledge experts

Institution Building

  • Develop and manage the quality control of all knowledge assets developed
  • Ensure all the content being created are relevant for NGO capacity building, specific to the target audience of small and medium NGOs
  • Set up & drive an annual calendar of content and knowledge assets to be curated and disseminated based on focus areas/themes of NGO capacity building
  • Responsible for devising the KRAs of the content team and governing the same
  • Incorporate insights from market research & platform analytics to strengthen content creation (target audience, content audits & SEO)

Location

The candidate can be based out of any of our three offices across Mumbai, Bangalore and Gurgaon and will involve travel to different parts of the country.
