We’re hiring a Content Lead

Dost is looking for a Content Lead to join its dynamic team. We expect the Content Lead to have expertise in content creation and production, early childhood care and education (ECCE). The Lead embodies user-centricity and research orientation in their approach. The Lead will be required to have an ear to the ground and undertake user research in order to develop content which works for users and also interact regularly with other functionaries in the early education space. The Lead will be expected to both mentor the content team, collaborate with other teams and work closely with the leadership in order to build Dost’s content strategy. The Lead will work closely across all functions such as content, operations , product, and communications.

Responsibilities and Duties

Curriculum development and content creation

The content lead will be responsible for building upon the current Dost curriculum strategy and leading future vision.

• Develop a curriculum based on the principles of ECCE which align with the organization’s mission of ‘every child school ready’.
• Lead the creation of content covering core concepts in early childhood development. Develop content across channels, both digital and offline. Ensure content is high quality and relevant for both families and other early education functionaries.
• Inform content strategy, development, and improvements based on user research, data, academia, policy, and other insights. In order to do this conduct research on ECCE, best ECD practices globally, latest ECCE innovations, and government ECD policies.
• Be responsible for tracking content performance, and modifying content based on quantitative data and qualitative feedback. Be quick to make content iterations and experiment.
• Set up processes that will enable the content team to quickly produce and design content, develop curriculum, experiment, evaluate content, and iterate.

Leadership

• Build, manage, and mentor the content team
• Guide the content team on content production for all future requirements
• Work closely with other leaders in the organisation
• Work cross-functionally and model collaboration with other teams in order to deliver improvements

Requirements

• Passion for content creation and early childhood development
• 5 years of experience in content creation, of which 2-3 years is in developing curriculum in the field of early childhood care and education
• Exceptional content creation skills including a research mindset, strong writing skills, and design thinking
• Expertise in ECD
• Past experience in building and managing teams
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in spoken and written Hindi.
