Role and Responsibilities

1. Technical Transformation, Data Analytics and Operations

a. Contribute as key member of Project Management Unit of World Bank-AP SALT project based out of AP Ed. Dept. Office at Vijaywada

b. Manage the technical capacity building of the state to create and conduct high-quality assessment

c. Develop technology systems to enable consolidation and visualization of assessment data through setting up databases, data processing, automated live dashboards for monitoring and evaluation

d. Develop systems to enable question bank creation and management

e. Ensure error-free deliverables like assessment tools, analyses aligned to project requirements

2. Large Scale Assessments, Educational Data Analytics and Capacity Building

a. Execute large scale benchmarking and diagnostics assessments at state level

b. Use psychometrics to determine quality and efficiency of questions and test instruments

c. Perform Data Analytics to measure student performance and unearth learning gaps

3. Organizational Development

a. Expand the scope of projects by high quality dissemination- States Interaction, working papers etc.

b. Travel for the project needs and documenting trip reports of the same appropriately

Skillset

Must have

1. Interest in and understanding of India’s education landscape

2. The ability to own, manage and develop an entire project management team end to end

3. Excellent oral and written communications and stakeholder management skills

4. The ability to learn fast, and grasp Educational Initiatives’ model and business

5. The ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently as a self-starter

6. Being detail-oriented, with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

Education

B.Tech/M.Tech in any discipline, Masters or Ph.D. in Statistics/Data Science/Math/Economics/Social
Sciences/Education preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Science/Data Analytics/Psychometrics/Assessment development
• Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Telugu
