About The/Nudge:

The/Nudge is an action institute working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime. We partner with governments, markets, and civil society to build resilient livelihoods for all.  We are a collective of some of India’s best leaders and entrepreneurs from across the industry, academia, government, and development sectors, and our work is organized across three impact streams:

• Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE): enables underprivileged youth to lead flourishing lives
• Centre for Rural Development (CRD): enables rural families to come out of extreme poverty
• Centre for Social Innovation (CSI): nudges top talent to solve India’s biggest challenges

About The/Nudge Accelerator:

The/Nudge Accelerator is the first-of-its-kind start-up fund in India designed to accelerate non-profits that are ready to grow and scale. We offer a grant of ₹ 50-200 lakhs, based on a non-profit’s potential to grow their impact, and achieve meaningful scale. Founders, as well as leadership team members, receive organizational mentoring and hands-on support for 12-24 months. Entrepreneurs have leveraged the supportive network of funders, experts and administrators, and other inputs of the accelerator to achieve 10-15x growth within a year and orbit-shifting growth for their nonprofit startups. 

At The/Nudge you will:

• strategize and execute on the roadmap to make The/Nudge accelerator a powerful magnet for talent, capital, and innovation in the service of resilient livelihoods for all
• create tailwinds for high potential startups to achieve impact and scale through thoughtful program design and timely inputs
• oversee all aspects of the program including outreach, selection, operations, mentoring by CSI Partners, and connecting entrepreneurs to the larger social ecosystem
• design bootcamps and other interventions to develop the capacity of entrepreneurs and their leadership teams
• (as a senior member of the Social Entrepreneurship division) contribute to defining the organization’s strategy, building the collective of mentors and influencers, raising funding for the program, and be a spokesperson for venture philanthropy and nonprofit entrepreneurship

Apply if you have:

• at least 15 years of work experience with a significant portion in the startup ecosystem, tech product management, equity research, or strategic consulting
• deep passion to apply your business skills towards social impact
• prior experience in the social sector preferred including involvement in Incubation or Acceleration programs

Would be great if you have:

• understanding of India’s livelihood sector (skill development, employability, entrepreneurship, rural development, gender and inclusion, emerging sectors)
• any experience of working with startups
