INDIAai  is the National AI Portal of India, established to serve as the central repository of AI knowledge and resources for the Indian AI ecosystem. Launched in May 2020, it has grown to become a prominent platform that not only showcases India’s AI advancements but also provides global insights into the state of AI in India. Recognized as a cornerstone of India’s National AI Program, INDIAai is regarded as one of the most authoritative sources for AI-related information in India and worldwide.
Job Description:

As the Editor-in-Charge at INDIAai, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our content strategy and research efforts, contributing to the growth and development of the Indian AI ecosystem. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content, conducting insightful research, and leading a team of content creators to engage and inform our community.

Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with INDIAai’s mission and objectives, ensuring the delivery of accurate and engaging AI-related content.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality written content, including articles, reports, whitepapers, and blog posts, showcasing your in-depth knowledge of the Indian AI ecosystem and its global significance.
Social Media Strategy: Guide the social media team on producing engaging material that is in-sync with the portal website content. Support the team in executing social live events (e.g. LinkedIn Live) towards overall ecosystem engagement.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring to ensure the team’s growth and productivity.
Liason with the government: Provide monthly updates to the ministry on the progress made. Interface with the ministry on additional requirements.
AI Expertise: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of AI technologies, trends, and developments in the Indian market, staying updated on the latest advancements.
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on AI-related topics, analyze technology trends, and produce insightful reports and analysis pieces that contribute to the understanding of AI in India.
Editing: Ensure all content adheres to INDIAai’s editorial guidelines, maintaining high-quality standards and accuracy.
CMS Management: Oversee content management systems (CMS) and maintain content organization and publication schedules, leveraging your 3-5 years of CMS experience.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to create compelling content that resonates with our audience and advances the goals of INDIAai.
Media Production (Optional): If you have experience in media production, you will have the opportunity to contribute to multimedia content such as podcasts, webinars, and videos.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5-7 years of experience in business journalism or tech journalism, with a strong portfolio of published articles and reports.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
In-depth knowledge of AI technology and the Indian AI ecosystem.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) for at least 3-5 years.
Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret technology trends.
Experience in media production is a plus.
