**Job Location:** New Delhi, India
**Experience Required:** At least 5 years of relevant work experience in research focusing on renewable energy, energy storage, and the electric vehicle sector. Experience in project management, timely delivery of outputs, and working with public and private institutions in India and internationally is essential. A foundational degree in engineering is required; a graduate or doctoral degree in engineering, public policy, energy economics, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the electric mobility sector is desirable.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Track technological innovations in power, energy storage, and the transport sector nationally and internationally.
* Identify opportunities for the Indian and global clean energy industry and develop policy roadmaps for new technology deployment.
* Collaborate with sectoral experts to create concise briefs and presentations with actionable recommendations.
* Develop pragmatic state-level roadmaps for manufacturing, deployment, reuse, and recycling of energy storage, electric vehicles, and other technological solutions.
* Analyze existing policies and technologies to design commercially and technically sound solutions for implementation.
* Track best practices from other countries with successful technological innovation and deployment.
* Build and maintain networks with key stakeholders in government, industry, venture capital, academia, and research institutions.
* Co-develop the program and mentor junior colleagues. Collaborate with other CEEW teams.
* Produce research outputs (publications, reports, presentations, articles).
* Contribute to project conceptualization and revenue generation.
* Participate in conferences and workshops to disseminate research findings and gain insights.
* Support the use of new media platforms to engage with the wider community.
**Desirable Outcomes (First Year):**
* Establish and maintain connections with key government and non-government stakeholders.
* Prepare and update concise briefs and presentations on clean energy and critical minerals.
* Secure at least one grant through project proposal writing.
* Assume at least one institutional responsibility or actively participate in an institutional initiative.

* Ability to identify technical and policy issues, interpret data, develop quantitative methods, and create solutions.
* Excellent written and oral communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
* Strong networking skills and experience interacting with diverse stakeholders.

* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
* Ability to represent the research and organization at national and international platforms.
