Job Description

Successful candidates will be a part of the fundraising team. They will be responsible for successful fundraising through grants from foundations. They will also be responsible for reporting to various donors and donor organisations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Review and identify leads for grants from various sources, prepare and submit effective proposals for them
  • Maintain a process for tracking grants, follow up on proposals submitted and fill in any information gaps if required
  • Collate and publish reports on various Bhumi projects, as required by donors, within expected timelines
  • Handle any other reporting/onboarding requirements related to fundraising activities and grant awards

Additional responsibilities:

  • Connect with potential institutional donors including corporates, pitch suitable projects and complete the onboarding
  • ​Manage the relationship with acquired and assigned institutional donors. Be accountable for the engagement and growth in the relationship 

Requirements

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

  • Any graduate or postgraduate
  • 2-3 years’ experience in grant management/fundraising with NGOs preferrable; Fresher’s welcome
  • Candidates with volunteering experience in Bhumi or similar organisations preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in written communication
  • Resourcefulness in being able to collate information from various sources
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Should be proactive and take the initiative in getting all tasks completed.

Other Information:

Scope: Full time

Reporting to: Manager – Corporate Relations

Remuneration: 3-4 Lakhs p.a. CTC

Expected joining date: Immediate.

Location: Chennai/Mumbai/ Pune/Remote
