**Job Description: Executive Assistant at Room to Read**

**Position Overview:**
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Country Director (CD) at Room to Read’s India headquarters in New Delhi. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced international non-profit environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Administrative Support:**
– Serve as the primary point of contact for the CD, managing daily administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and proofreading documents.
– Lead annual travel planning, manage budgets, and organize team events.
– **Team Collaboration:**
– Assist in preparing materials for management team meetings, coordinate logistics, and support donor engagement activities.
– Collaborate with departments to improve processes and facilitate communication.
– **Project Management:**
– Handle special projects such as research initiatives and strategic planning.
– Develop and manage the CD team’s annual budget.
**Qualifications:**
– **Required:**
– 1-2+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Eligibility to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
– **Preferred:**
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– Experience as an executive assistant to a C-level executive.
– International travel or cultural exposure.
– Commitment to non-profit organizations and volunteer experience.
