## Job Description: Executive Assistant to the CEO (Manager)
**Location:** Mumbai; Pune
**About Teach For India:**
Teach For India is a non-profit organization on a mission to end educational inequity in India. We are a movement of over 4,600 alumni working at all levels of the education system, reaching 1 in 10 children across the country. Our two-year Fellowship Program places driven individuals in under-resourced classrooms to provide a quality education to low-income children. We are currently working with over 940 Fellows and are the largest pipeline of skilled talent into the educational ecosystem in India.
**Position Summary:**
Reporting to the CEO, Shaheen Mistri, the Executive Assistant to the CEO (Manager) plays a critical role in supporting the CEO’s daily operations and strategic initiatives. This position requires a highly organized and proactive individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Managing the CEO’s Time:**
* Arranging all meetings and ensuring the CEO has the necessary research, materials, and information.
* Drafting and responding to emails related to the CEO’s work.
* Ensuring follow-up of meetings is undertaken as required.
* Making travel arrangements.
* Managing and filing correspondence.
* Serving as a personal representative internally and externally.
* Ensuring the CEO’s professional and personal commitments are met.
* **Supporting the CEO’s Progress to Goals:**
* Maintaining a system of supporting, tracking, and analyzing the CEO’s goals daily, quarterly, and annually.
* Preparing presentations and materials for the CEO’s internal and external commitments, always striving for innovation and excellence.
* Working closely with the Chief of Staff on Board, Senior Leadership, and Leadership engagement and events.
* **Supporting Senior Leadership with High-Priority Projects:**
* Drafting and monitoring the annual budget for Senior Leadership.
* Supporting with research, project management, documentation, etc. for ongoing projects.
* **Data and Knowledge Management for the CEO:**
* Managing data for decision-making across functions and maintaining a knowledge management system for the CEO.
* Upskilling to support the CEO in any functional areas as required.
* **Managing the CEO’s Social Media Accounts and Public Relations:**
* Managing the CEO’s social media across all channels to amplify the impact of Teach For India’s work through trackable and achievable goals in collaboration with the Communications Team.
* Managing the preparation required for PR and social media pieces in collaboration with the Communications Team.
* **Participating in and Anchoring Various Tasks and Projects to Support the CEO.**
* **Contributing to the team goals and priorities beyond individual goals and priorities.**
* **Serving as an ambassador of the Teach For India brand and an advocate for our work and for educational equity in our country through both internal and external communication.**
* **Supporting key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, and Movement Building.**
**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences, and Expectations:**
* 3-5 years of professional work experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in driving operations in high-pressure, goal-driven environments.
* Experience of having collaborated effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
* Experiences and examples of having taken the initiative in the past.
* Previous experience in teaching/education would be an added advantage (not mandatory).
