About the program: MITRA focuses on empowering small and marginal farmers by nudging them to adopt latest technologies and best farming practices. The program bridges the lack of last-mile delivery of agriculture extension services at the grass roots by helping marginal farmers to access existing public extension facilities, engage with agri-scientists and embrace best farming practices, and more importantly, to impart this to other farmers through peer learning and sharing. The focus is also on improving market linkages, and digital and financial literacy.
Job Summary: Project Executive – Monitoring and Evaluation, will be instrumental in implementing a robust Monitoring & Evaluation System. S/he will be responsible for data collation, verification and synthesis of the M&E System. S/he will play an important role in supporting the field teams to send data / reports on time and for capacity building of staff, on ground coordination with third party agencies and field team to carry out various program related surveys, audits and studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the current system of data collection and reporting; ensure integrity of data and efficiency of data collection and analysis.
- Conduct data quality assessments on a periodical basis.
- Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data
- Analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data and summarizing findings
- Developing monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements. Design and use dashboards and reports that team can access from MIS portal for review and learning purpose.
- Handle MIS in close coordination with program operation teams; work with M&E Officer to get the required support in managing the MIS platform.
- Ground coordination with external evaluation consultants, data auditors, to conduct surveys, data audits, and evaluation studies as decided by Management and ensure high quality data collection and reporting is done by field teams.
- Supporting and Training field staff in MIS portal which include data collection processes and providing ongoing coaching
- Conduct periodical surveys as directed by M&E Officer.
- Implement feedback mechanism for continuous improvement of M&E system
