Job Description:
Bhumi is looking for a Retail Fundraising (Individual Giving) Lead who will be responsible for driving community and digital fundraising efforts at Bhumi.
Primary responsibilities:
- Mobilize resources and coordinate with volunteers, providing them with the necessary education and inspiration to drive fundraising efforts and culture for Bhumi.
- Actively initiate and maintain communication with potential and existing donors, employing a personable approach to foster strong relationships and build a solid base of long-term recurring support.
- Develop and mentor volunteer/intern teams, focusing on the cultivation of online fundraising strategies and execution. Collaborate closely with volunteer leaders to offer training and support, empowering them to create and lead their own successful teams.
- Implement and manage fundraising operations, ensuring compliance with platforms and smooth execution of fundraising activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Creativity and attention to detail in written communication
- Ability to take ownership of operational tasks
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, plan work, and close commitments
- Excellent analytical skills
- Should be proactive and take the initiative in getting all tasks completed
- Good working knowledge of word/docs, excel/sheets, and presentation/slides is a must
Requirements:
- Preferred Education Qualification / Experience: Any graduate or postgraduate
- 3-4 years of experience in community-driven fundraising with NGOs is preferable
- Candidates who have worked in Business Development roles will be given preference Candidates with volunteering experience in Bhumi or similar organizations will be preferred

Reporting to: Retail Fundraising Manager
Scope: Permanent Full time
Remuneration: Negotiable based on candidate’s profile
Expected Joining Date: Immediate
Location: Mumbai/Pune/Chennai/Remote (Chennai Preferred)
