ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate financial reports from Zoho accounting software and to prepare monthly financial tracking of each grant.
  • Review, liaise with the finance team, and work on various donor financial reports before finalization.
  • Work with finance and accounts and ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
  • Review monthly expense allocations in line with grants management principles. 
  • Provide support in donor budget working and finalization.
  • Provide support in new proposal budget related workings and documentation.
  • Ensuring correct project and donor allocation in monthly staff timesheets. 
  • Tracking monthly staff actual allocations against planned
  • Work on periodic projections of various projects in close coordination with Program/Project Leads
  • Assist in generating various analytical reports of each grant/project.
  • Work on monthly staff allocation planning in coordination with Project/Program Leads.
  • Assist in Sub award management – ensuring all processes are followed, handling their close-out processes.
  • Preparing and reconciling monthly expenses with WIAI US books.
  • Work on cash flow/monthly advance fund request, ensuring availability of required fund balance in-country for carrying out project activities.
  • Provide assistance to the supervisor and work on various detailed reporting requirements for internal planning, management purposes, etc.
  • Ensure smooth and timely grant close-out processes.
  • Developing tools or excel based tracking for various purposes/internal reports.
  • Managing various external/internal/donor audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all grants agreements and other related documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure sound grants management in the organization. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Microsoft Office computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous in approach to tasks.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Flexible work style and ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to work flexibly on a wide range of tasks.
  • Willing to travel as and when required. 

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance. Additional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience especially working on various donor grants management, generating various excel based reports.
  • ZohoBooks experience would be preferred. Working knowledge of other Accounting Software would be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of various donors related grants management and financial reporting, analysis etc.
  • Experience working in INGOs would be preferred.
