**Job Description:**

The Information Designer will be an integral member of the Outreach and Communications team, responsible for creating visually compelling content that effectively communicates SELCO Foundation’s mission, values, and impact.  This role requires collaboration with various teams to design materials for diverse platforms, maintaining a consistent and engaging visual identity.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Data Visualization:** Design clear and impactful data visualizations (charts, infographics, etc.) to communicate complex information and research findings from statistical data and reports.

* **Content Creation:** Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop visually appealing presentations, reports, and other materials (digital and print) for internal and external audiences, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

* **Visual Identity and Narrative:** Maintain consistency in visual communication, adhering to the organization’s established narratives and visual identity guidelines.

* **Storytelling Through Design:** Translate impactful stories into visually engaging narratives using multimedia content to effectively convey the organization’s mission and impact.

* **Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (communications, research, program teams) to gather information and incorporate feedback to refine designs.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Design, Graphic Design, Data Visualization, or a related field.

* Proven experience as an information designer, demonstrable through a portfolio of successful design projects.

* Proficiency in data visualization tools and graphic design software.

* Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.

* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and respond positively to feedback.
