**Job Description**

 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Lead (Partnerships)** to join our team in **Ahmedabad, Gujarat**. This position will play a crucial role in leading the organization’s fundraising activities and building strategic partnerships with institutional funders and individual philanthropists. 

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure resources for AKRSP(I)’s various strategic programs.

* Identify and cultivate new institutional funding partners and individual philanthropists, ensuring alignment with AKRSP(I)’s mission and objectives.

* Develop compelling program briefs and project proposals that effectively communicate AKRSP(I)’s work to potential donors.

* Collaborate closely with program teams at the head office and field level to understand program needs and develop strong funding proposals.

* Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with existing donors, ensuring transparency and accountability.

* Conduct due diligence on new donors to assess their credibility and ensure ethical partnerships.

* Monitor and analyze funding trends, identify potential funding opportunities, and stay abreast of donor priorities.

* Lead the organization’s communications efforts to attract new donors, including developing materials and social media campaigns.

* Prepare and present regular reports on partnership development progress, funding pipeline, donor satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.

* Support program managers in developing concept notes, budgets, and financial analytics for new project proposals.

*  Maintain and update progress of funding pipelines in various available tools.

 

**Skills & Competencies:**

 

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors.

* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide constructive recommendations.

* Demonstrated ability to innovate tools, processes, and approaches to fundraising.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

*  Deep understanding of the development sector, including project development, budgets, and relevant norms.

*  Strong commitment to learning, collaboration, and knowledge transfer.

*  Respect for diversity in the organization, including regional, gender, and religious diversity.

*  Willingness to travel to meet donors for networking purposes and to visit field areas to develop new project proposals.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Postgraduate degree in any subject.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising and partnerships within the development sector.
