As the Lead, Programme Expansions you will be responsible to expand the geographical footprint of the organization to three new Tier 1 cities. This will involve understanding the childcare sector in these new geographies, building partnerships with local Child Care Institutions and launching our core programmes in the new cities..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with Child Care Institutions (CCIs) across the new districts, build relationships with various stakeholders in the sector, conduct need assessment and launch our core programmes.
  • Implement the Scholastic Awards Program which includes student selection, organizing annual award ceremonies, communication and coordination between program stakeholders, documentation and impact reporting.
  • Build a deep understanding of CCIs, the various stakeholders in the sector and bring that context to the Central Programme Design team.
  • Recruit and manage a local temporary team for project implementation.
  • Set up project management processes that enable local teams to run smooth, efficient project execution.
  • Be available to support/coach and guide the local teams across the 3 cities & extend support to all 6 cities as per requirement.
  • Network, connect and meet with various stakeholders to cultivate partnerships / future opportunities.

Preferred Experience:

  • A professional with 3-4 years experience in programme implementation, setting up operations in new geographies & partnership management in the development sector.
  • Experience or strong interest in building & working with multi-city local teams with skills in coaching/mentoring.
  • Experience and strong interest in field work / grassroots implementation.
  • Fluency in Hindi / Telugu / Bengali is good to have.

  • Has strong project management, communication (written and verbal), presentation skills.
  • Able to travel frequently to on-field locations / manage local teams.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in field conditions, objectives and on-ground requirements.
