## Lead to Assistant Manager – Procurement & Event Operations

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Lead to Assistant Manager – Procurement & Event Operations in Chennai. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement and event operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective processes.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the procurement process for all goods and services, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and ensure timely delivery.
* Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with Bhumi’s policies and procedures.
* Plan and execute events, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor coordination.
* Develop and maintain event management systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in procurement and event operations.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* The applicant should be willing to travel extensively within the city and interact/work with stakeholders including Government departments, vendors, and other organizations.
