**Job Location:** Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

**Experience Required:** 

Any Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in soft skills and life skills training.

**Responsibilities:**

* Deliver a structured induction program to youth starting the Livelihood program.

* Lead all training at Magic Bus Livelihood Centres, delivering skill training and supporting youth into jobs and further education placements.

* Facilitate Sports for Development activities using Magic Bus curriculum and resources to engage youth and enhance their learning.

* Deliver training content developed by the Magic Bus national Programme Development Team, tailoring it to the local context while ensuring session outcomes are met.

* Ensure training outcomes are achieved in each session and youth receive consistent messages throughout all training interventions.

* Design an effective Livelihood Centre training timetable with the Centre Coordinator and ensure it is monitored and updated.

* Apply and continuously develop innovative training techniques to make training more effective, fun, and interactive.

* Undertake comprehensive needs assessments with youth to identify their strengths, limitations, training and life skills needs, and overall program targets.

* Work in partnership with the Centre Coordinator and career counsellors during needs assessments to ensure youth receive impartial Information, Advice, and Guidance.

* Act as the lead worker in the initial phase of youth engagement with the Magic Bus Livelihood program, ensuring all youth receive a complete and proper offer.

* Support youth to achieve skills training, mentoring, and employer activities outlined in their Personal Development Plans, in partnership with the Placement and Partnership Officers.

* Focus on training and counselling to ensure successful youth placement, training, or further education, and their ability to sustain these for 6 months.

* Contribute to mapping institutions (government/NGO/private, and corporate foundations) that provide skills training opportunities locally.

* Identify and respond to risks that could lead to youth dropping out of the program.

* Build strong and trusted relationships with youth from the start of their engagement with Magic Bus.

* Undertake data collection and reporting duties to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Livelihood program.

* Act as a role model at all times, demonstrating behavior that displays the characteristics youth should develop to be successful.

**Desired Competencies and Qualifications:**

* Any Graduate with 1-2 years of experience in soft skills and life skills training.

* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English and the local language; proficiency in English and non-verbal communication is mandatory.

* Strong digital learning skills for training others and self-learning.

* Good facilitation skills and ability to create classroom learning activities based on topics.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and with all levels of staff, volunteers, and school authorities.

* Strong learning-to-learn skills for picking up new soft skills subject areas quickly.

* Ability to mentor students for higher aspirations and skill building.

* Graduation in any stream and certification in career counselling.

**CTC:** INR 30,000 per month plus travel and mobile allowance.
